Welcome to Barmilko. Your trust matters to us as much as the taste of every scoop, cup and brick that leaves our small-batch kitchen in Lucknow. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the app, place an order on WhatsApp or by phone, and how we use, store, protect and handle that information — exactly the way we serve you: handcrafted premium ice cream in 33 flavours, delivered chilled across Lucknow.

1. Information We Collect

• Contact details: name, mobile/WhatsApp number, email and delivery address for order confirmation and delivery.
• Order details: flavours, pack sizes (cones, cups, bars, small bricks 750ml, large bricks 3.5L), quantities, event details and all order communication.
• Account data: if you register, your profile name, phone, email and password (stored securely, hashed).
• Payment confirmation: we accept Cash on Delivery and UPI at delivery; we never store card or UPI credentials online.
• OTP login without SMS access: mobile login uses a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS; we never request SMS permissions, never read your messages or contacts, and never ask for an OTP over a call.
• Usage data: anonymous, aggregated app-usage information used only to improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To confirm orders and arrange cold-chain delivery with real-time status.
• To provide support, replacements and refunds.
• To send order updates and, only if you opt in, offers.
• To improve flavours, packaging and the app through anonymised analysis.
• To meet Indian food-safety and tax record-keeping obligations.

3. Sharing

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. Details are shared only with our delivery team and trusted, contractually-bound service providers to complete your order, or where required by law.

4. Security & Retention

Your data is stored securely and accessed only by authorised staff. App communication is protected over HTTPS. We retain order and address details only as long as needed to fulfil your order, process replacements or refunds, and meet legal requirements, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.

5. Your Rights

6. Children’s Privacy

The app is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. A parent or guardian may order on a child’s behalf.
