Barmilko is a premium handcrafted ice cream brand based near Palassio Mall, Ekana Stadium, Lucknow, operating under FSSAI license number 22724104000312. We manufacture cones, cups, bars, family packs and party packs in small batches and sell them directly to our customers in and around Lucknow. Because we mostly serve you directly through WhatsApp and our website rather than large marketplaces, we collect less data than most e-commerce stores and we keep that data strictly within our own team. This policy walks you through what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to confirm, prepare and deliver your ice cream order. Nothing more.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Contact details — your name and WhatsApp number, which we use to confirm orders.
• Delivery details — your complete delivery address and any landmark instructions so our riders can reach you on time.
• Order details — the flavours, pack sizes (cones, cups, bars, small bricks or large bricks) and quantities you request, along with event dates for bulk or wedding orders.
• Communication — messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp or by email, including queries, preferences and feedback.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data — pages you view on barmilko.com, approximate location at city level, device type and browser information, collected through cookies and analytics to improve your experience.
• Payment confirmation status — for UPI, card or Cash on Delivery payments, we receive confirmation of success or failure only. We do not see, store or process your card or UPI credentials.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

Barmilko does not collect sensitive bank account numbers, full card details, OTPs, Aadhaar numbers or any passport or government-issued identification. Your payment information is handled directly by your bank, UPI app or card network, never by us.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to serve you better and complete your order. We use it to:

• Confirm and acknowledge your order on WhatsApp, including flavour availability and final pricing.
• Coordinate delivery through our cold-chain riders and share your delivery slot and live status.
• Provide customer support before, during and after delivery.
• Send you order updates and, only if you opt in, occasional offers, new flavour launches and festival menus.
• Improve our website, flavour catalogue and delivery experience through anonymised analytics.

Marketing, But Only If You Ask

We do not send unsolicited promotional messages. If you choose to receive updates about seasonal specials like Kesar Kulfi, Paan Nawaabi or Shahi Gulab, you can opt out at any time by replying to us on WhatsApp or emailing hello@barmilko.com.

We retain your order details, delivery address and WhatsApp chat history only as long as necessary to fulfil your order, complete any replacement or refund process, and meet record-keeping requirements under Indian food and tax law. Enquiry messages with no completed order are deleted within a few months.

• Access to customer data is restricted to authorised Barmilko staff who need it to serve you.
• Our website is served over HTTPS so information is encrypted in transit.
• We never store payment credentials, and we never ask for your OTP on any call.
• Device and server access is password protected and limited to essential personnel.

• Access — ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
